SUMMARY:Super Premium Wine Tasting - 2 April 2026 - Caymus
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nBrandon Lewis from Caymus ( Wagner Family Vineyards) will be here to tell us about these wines. \nWines scheduled to appear: \n2023 Emmolo Sauvignon Blanc \nRegion: California (North Coast) \nGrapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc \nNotes: “Guided by the idea that ‘less is more’\, this wine is dry and fresh\, with crisp fruit flavors and bright minerality. Some of our grapes come from family vineyards in Napa Valley\, with the majority coming from Suisun Valley\, a “hidden gem” wine region only a short drive from Napa. Suisun shares a similar maritime climate and produces exceptional fruit. Our farming practices enable us to create a wine that is not overly ripe – while also not herbaceous – featuring low alcohol and bright acidity.” \n  \n2024 Bonanza Lot 1 Chardonnay \nRegion: California \nGrapes: 100% Chardonnay \nNotes: “Charlie Sr.’s namesake and grandson continues the family tradition with the introduction of Bonanza Chardonnay Lot 1. Not buttery or oak-driven\, the wine bounces out of the glass in a pure expression of the variety. Light melon with vibrant acidity.” \n  \n2023 Caymus-Suisin Walking Fool – Red Blend \nRegion: California (Suisin Valley) \nGrapes: Zinfandel and Petit Syrah \nNotes: “This red wine blend is produced from Suisun Valley\, a remarkable AVA that has become the Wagner family’s second home. A 30-minute drive from Napa\, Suisun has ideal soils and climate for a variety of grapes. The Walking Fool is named after a long-ago relative who was often seen traveling by foot – thus earning this affectionate moniker. Featuring Zinfandel and Petite Sirah\, this wine is smooth and lively\, with juicy raspberry\, notes of espresso and softly fine tannins.” \n  \n2023 Bonanza Vinekeeper Lot 1 – Cabernet Sauvignon \nRegion: California (Napa Valley) \nGrapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon \nNotes: “We started making Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon in 2019 and have been on a path of discovery ever since\, as we explore vineyard sites off the beaten track that produce delicious Cabernet Sauvignon throughout California. The Vinekeeper will showcase different areas over time – this debut comes from Napa Valley\, renowned for its unique ability to produce exciting wine. Beautifully balanced – rich\, fruit-driven\, round and ripe.” \n  \n2023 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley \nRegion: California (Napa Valley) \nGrapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon \nNotes: “A crowd-pleaser\, with boysenberry and acai berry fruit flavors streaming through\, while a silky but persistent structure carries this through the chocolate-framed finish. Caressing in feel\, with a subtle savory echo at the very end. Drink now through 2033” \n  \n2020 Caymus Nurseryman Cabernet Sauvignon \nRegion: California (Napa Valley) \nGrapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon \nNotes: “A new bottling from Caymus! Nurseryman is named for Jenny Wagner’s grandfather\, Frank Emmolo. His Emmolo Nursery supplied farm owners with quality grapevines during Napa Valley’s evolution in becoming a world-renowned wine region. Wineries that put Napa on the map sourced vines from Frank – Napa’s key nurseryman. From grapes grown on some of Napa Valley’s best Cabernet soils\, expect a rich\, layered\, and textured wine.” \n

SUMMARY:VIP Wine Tasting - 22 April 2026 - La Dolce Vita - An Italian Wine Escapade
DESCRIPTION:Stephen James (Uva Importers)\, a rising star in the wine world will be here to introduce 6 great wines (see below for details). We will also offer our classic charcuterie plate and lots of great conversation with livey folks. Come on and taste ‘the sweet life”. \n  \nWines scheduled to appear: \nZinagara Prosecco \nRegion: Italy (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) \nGrape: 100% Glera \nTaste: “Zingara Prosecco is such a joy\, easy drinking\, fruity\, and great for mixing in cocktails or juice. The Zingara prosecco is marked by lush\, clean fruit and floral notes of golden apple\, ripe peach\, and orange blossom. The bubbles are creamy and full of freshness with a dry\, gentle finish. The quality of the grapes farmed in the vineyard are what make the difference\, all estate-fruit from our friends and partner in Pordenone\, Friuli.” \n  \nMercato Pesce White \nRegion: Italy (Verona) \nGrapes: Garganega 50%\, Chardonnay 35%\, Incrocio Manzoni 15% \nTaste: “A lush and expressive wine with notes of apple\, pear\, and lemon. A dry wine with med/full body and a balanced finish that is both refreshing and firm. Pesce is Italian for ‘fish’ and this wine pairs well with seafood.” \n  \nBove Marso Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo \nRegion: Italy ( Abruzzo) \nGrape: 100% Montepulciano \nTaste: “Aged at the winery to full maturity\, the color is dense ruby red with purple hues. Powerful aromatics with ripe blackberry\, cassis\, spice\, and balsamic. The palate is lush and full with great structure and power.” \n  \nBrancatelli Valle delle Stelle \nRegion: Italy (Tuscany) \nGrapes: 89% Cabernet Sauvignon\, 11% Carbernet Franc \nTaste: “This estate bottling proudly represents the organic vineyards with value and exceptional quality. Less than one mile from the Mediterranean\, the ocean air keeps the alcohol in check with an energetic and vibrant style. This Cabernet is full of dark fruits and black cherry\, complemented by black pepper spice and savory undertones of grilled herbs\, earth\, and smoke. A small percentage of Cabernet Franc highlights these spice notes.” \n  \nDemarie Nebbiolo Langhe \nRegion: Italy (Piedmont – Langhe) \nGrape: 100% Nebbiolo \nTaste: “This is a fun and youthful expression of the most noble and powerful grape of the Piedmont region. The flavors lead with dark berry fruits\, hints of earth\, chocolate\, and flowers. The wine is unoaked\, leaving the fruit to take center stage\, a medium-bodied wine with a short but vibrant finish.” \n  \nCorte Volponi Ripasso \nRegion: Italy (Venetto) \nGrapes: 70% Corvinone and Corvina\, 25% Rondinella\, and 5% Croatina \nTaste: “100% authentically Italian\, the Ripasso style is very popular here in America because of its lush fruity character\, layers of spice\, and compelling herbal notes. Bright red fruits and spice give way to more wild\, dried flavors of plum and herbs on the palate and through the finish. A med/full bodied wine with approachable tannins and a refreshing vibrant finish.”
