The responses from our recent survey showed folks wanted a super premium wine tasting and here it is. \nWe have a world class wine tasting where you will taste wines from Silver Oak and Twomey (owned by Silver Oak). The ratings of these wines range from 92 to 96. You will also be able to taste wines made from the same types of grape but from different vineyards.  \nWe all will enjoy this one. \nWine scheduled to appear: \n2024 Twomey Sauvignon Blanc \n“The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc combines the concentrated depth of a warm vintage with the freshness that only an early harvest can preserve. On the nose\, it opens with inviting aromas of white peach\, Gravenstein apple and chamomile. The palate is rich yet delicate\, offering a beautifully textured mouthfeel that’s lifted by vibrant acidity. A throughline of fresh minerality adds elegance\, while the finish is fresh and persistent\, making it both lively and refined. Perfect for immediate enjoyment\, this wine captures the essence of California in a vintage defined by balance and complexity.” Rated 93 James Suckling \n2023 Twomey Pinot Noir – Anderson Valley \n“Lovely\, bright\, crunchy red fruit\, rich cedar spices\, dried floral notes\, and dusty minerals. Satiny fruit races across the palate\, along with plump tannins\, electrified by terrific acidity. The fruit concentration is penetrating but never overpowering and is framed by a clove powder and cedarwood dusting on the long finish.” Rated 92 James Suckling \n2023 Twomey Pinot Noir – Russian River Valley \n“This Russian River Valley wine has beautiful\, floral and cassis-like aromas\, followed by a generous palate of black plums\, black cherries and subtle pine and woodsy accents. Moderate tannins and a full body make for a mouth-filling and well-balanced expression. Elegant red berry fruit is laced with vanilla and cedarwood. Emerging brown spices layer in nuance on this medium-bodied Pinot Noir\, which boasts plenty of dark fruit concentration with plush textures and ripe tannins. There’s a lovely floral lift on the finish.” Rated 93 James Suckling; 92 Decanter \n2021 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon – Alexander Valley \n“So full-bodied\, ripe and robust\, offering spicy\, iron-like\, black fruit aromas\, with generous dark cherries on a firmly tannic palate. Concentrated black plum\, graphite\, black pepper\, coffee bean\, pine resin and oak toast flavors on a full body. The tannins are powerful and fine-grained\, shaping the texture significantly at this stage.
