VIP Wine Tasting – 12 March 2026 – Pacific Northwest
Man de La Mancha in the Pacific Northwest!!!!

Well, we were supposed to have a tasting of only wines from the Pacific Northwest but Rich tasted a SUPER Spanish wine from La Mancha soooooo…we slipped that one in.
The well-known expert, Gwen Bell from 3 Keys Distributing will be here to talk about the wines. And you will enjoy a charcuterie plate and meet lots of fun folks!
Wine scheduled to appear:
Lulu Blanc de Blanc NV (Washington State)
Region: Washington (Columbia Valley)
Grapes: 84% Riesling, 11% Chardonnay, 3% Moscato, 2% Viognier
Taste: “With peach and coconut aromas, Lulu’s bubbles are frothy and creamy. Flavors include lemon and lime. The Lulu gets its bubbles from the méthode contemporaine process, which involves introducing carbon dioxide into the wine right before bottling.”
Rated: 89 (Wine Enthusiast)
2023 Boedecker Purity Chardonnay
Region: Oregon (Williamette Valley)
Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Taste: “Purity’s muted aromas of lemon and pear are overshadowed by notes of ginger and chalkboard dust. The wine’s acidity is nicely elevated. Tart citrus and Granny Smith apple flavors mingle with a trace of green tea sweetened with agave syrup.”
Rated: 88 (Wine Enthusiast)
2024 Reentrant Rose
Region: Oregon (Williamette Valley)
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Taste: “Delicate aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, and citrus blossom with subtle notes of rose petals and minerality. Crisp and balanced palate with a fine texture with flavors of red berries, grapefruit, and a hint of spice leading to a clean, graceful finish. This Rosé captures the freshness and sophistication of cool-climate winemaking.”
2024 Reentrant Pinot Noir
Region: Oregon (Williamette Valley)
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Taste: “Aromatically, an earthiness here combines blackberry tea, fresh-turned soil and wood smoke. Growing up from that earth is the sweet, powdery scent of violets. The wine’s fruit is a tangy red raspberry-red cherry combination with black tea and lemon, backed by brisk acidity and plush tannins.”
Rating: 88 (Wine Enthusiast)
2017 Vina Jaraba Reserva
Region: Spain (Castilla-La Mancha)
Grapes: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Taste: “Impeccably crafted taste, featuring notes of cassis, black cherries, brown spices, cigar, dark soil nuances, and a touch of dried eucalyptus, will have you savoring every sip. Delicately balanced and full-bodied, it’s a great example of Spanish winemaking at its finest.”
2022 Walla Walla Cabernet Franc
Region: Washington (Columbia Valley)
Grapes: Cabernet Franc (80%), Merlot (16%), Cabernet Sauvignon (4%)
Taste: “Aged for 18 months in oak, this wine opens with aromas of blackberries, savory herbs, and delicate floral hints, rounded out by subtle notes of red cherry and cedar. On the palate, it glides with soft, rounded textures, gradually revealing vibrant black currants, tart black raspberries, and a touch of baking spice. The tannins are finely grained and lightly chewy, adding structure while maintaining the wine’s approachable nature.”
